OMR Website Reviews
A connection that lets OMR Detailing retrieve reviews from its own Google Business Profile and display them on the OMR website.
The Google connection is for OMR's owner. Customers do not need to connect a Google Account to read reviews or use this information site.
What the connection does
- Finds OMR Detailing's business profile after the owner authorizes access.
- Retrieves recent review text, public reviewer names and profile photos, star ratings, review dates, and Google's overall rating and review count.
- Keeps a temporary copy so the website can show reviews efficiently and continue working through a short Google outage.
What the owner authorizes
Google requires the business.manage permission for this review reader. Google's permission includes seeing, editing, creating, and deleting business listings. This implementation uses the permission to read OMR's profile and reviews; it does not create or edit listings, publish review replies, or change appointments.
How data is used
Review data supports the review display on OMR's website, including its private preview during setup. Authorization credentials stay on the server. Cached review content is replaced when refreshed and retained for no more than seven days.
Google review data is not sold, used for targeted advertising, or used to train AI models by this app.
